It Finally Froze Over

This is our newest addition. see.jpg

The cat, not the boy.

I’m still coming to grips with it. I’ve always been a dog person, and a big dog person at that.  There was a dachsund in there along with the golden retriever, Irish setter, and labrador, but she thought she was a big dog.

So why the change of heart?

Look at the boy.

We named her Charlotte Daisy.  Seemed like a fine name, until the vet told us that we should have named her him Charley instead.

Charley it is.

Yes, if you can’t agree on the sex, you should agree on the name splelling…
And for years we had a cat named “our boy Lady”….same problem. Except the name stuck before our vet discovered the problem!

Yeah, I had a Sugar when I was growing up. Unfortuately, Sugar decided he had to overcome his sweet name by terrorizing the neighborhood wildlife.

    Welcome, Charley!

The kids voted – and Charley it is! It’s even writtten in the new cememnt floor! Since he can’t read I’m thinking it doesn’t matter anyway!

  4. We worked our way up from hamsters to cats to dogs, currently one each of cat and dog, and watching their (body) language difficulties are hilarious. The dog just doesn’t understand that the cat isn’t wagging his tail until the ears go back, and then it’s too late!
    Beware of feline urinary syndrome.
